Sewing: Ukulele Shorts and Raglan T-Shirt

When I spotted this Kokka Ukulele linen fabric I knew I had to make something with it for my ukulele girl. Summer shorts seemed like just the thing. Along with a simple t-shirt.

I used the MADE Kid's Shorts pattern in the boy's longer length and added the pockets with lots of top stitching. For the shirt I used the Oliver + S Field Trip Raglan T-shirt pattern and shortened the sleeves. This is a fun look Audrey and I both agree on!

We haven't really agreed on a practicing schedule however. And she tells me she's leaning more towards the electric guitar. We'll see.... One instrument at a time, right?

I don't think I've seen pictures of Audry looking so animated ... Ever? I think you might be onto a winner here! I might have to have a go at those patterns. Thanks for drawing my attention to them.

You could try one front panel and one back panel of the ukulele fabric, and then use some other fabric to compliment/contrast it. :)
